Bingara Visitor Information Centre is located in the restored Roxy Theatre Building. The Roxy epitomises Greek migration experience, which made an outstanding contribution to the development of Australia, and may be the last example of a combined cinema cafe, functioning as per its original plan, remaining in NSW, possibly in Australia. The cafe has been restored to its original splendour.
The Museum further increases national significance, conserving and protecting the important cultural associations between people and place.
Visitors can tour the museum and restored theatre at 10.30am and 2.30pm daily, or by appointment. Museum and theatre tour packages are available. Please contact the visitor information centre for details....
