The interior is beautifully furnished with a mix antiques and contemporary pieces. You need not bring a thing the Long Barn is full equipped for your comfort. It has reverse cycle air-conditioning, additional gas and electric heating. The garden provides many spots to sit and enjoy the tranquil vistas where seasons bring displays of many changes. Southdown Stable was the original horse stables on the historic 1857 Southdown estate. Set in six acres of gardened grounds, the property is just three minutes drive to Bowral, many cafes, restaurants, boutique shops, anique markets, food and supermarkets. The many vineyards and Southern Highland Villages and National Parks are only a 10 to 15 minute drive away. The Stable has been lovingly converted into a cosy self-contained cottage for four to six people. The uniquely decorated interior of Between the Wars is warm and welcoming making for a most memorable stay. It has two queen bedrooms (one with extra single bed, two bathrooms one with a freestanding bath. An additional single bed is in the lounge open plan area. The Stable can accommodate four to six people. The magnificent six acre gardened Estate beckons you to enjoy and offers total relaxation. It is one of four self-contained cottages on the estate.

Devon Cottage - accommodation for two guests located in the six acre grounds of historic "Southdown" - dating back to 1857. You have the use of the wonderful beautiful gardened Estate to wander around in and enjoy during your stay. A private self-contained accommodation with a uniquely decorated interior in a sylvan setting of trees, hedges, parterres and garden rooms and only three minutes drive from Bowrals many restaurants, cafes and shops. The rustic interior has been professionally decorated. The slab and tin walls are complemented by an eclectic collection of country style Victorian furniture and bric-a-brac. Upstairs there is a large bedroom/lounge with queen bed and windows overlooking gardens and ponds. An additional single bed for an additional person if required at AUD50 per night extra is in the downstairs veranda room. Downstairs has cosy living area with lounge, dining corner and a wood fire (in winter). An old fashioned kitchenette provides all modern cooking facilities and a period bathroom has a deep hipbath with shower over. Many vineyards and Southern Highland Villages are only a 10 to 15 minute drive away. Cafes, restaurants, boutique shops, antique markets, food and supermarkets are all close by....

Southdown Cottage is a quaint storey book cottage that has accommodation for two to four guests. A self-contained cottage, one of four on the historic 1857, six acre beautifully gardened estate 'Southdown' located just a three minute drive from the centre of Bowral. Upstairs a quaint queen bedroom / en suite overlooking a long pond and hedged cottage gardens. The downstairs bedroom /en suite has two king singles (or made into king bed on request - a fee applies). There is a fully equipped kitchen, lounge / dining area with a bay window seat to sit and watch the colourful birdlife. Southdown Cottage is ideal for a family or two couples and will provide a most relaxing and memorable stay. Upstairs is not suitable for the elderly or infirm. A two day complimentary breakfast basket is provided. Wood for the fireplace in the winter months is AUD35 a basket. You have the use of the magnificent beautiful six acre Estate to wander and enjoy. The Cottage is three minutes drive to Bowrals many cafes, restaurants, boutique shops antique markets, food shops and supermarkets. 10 to 15 minute drive takes you to the many vineyards, Southern Highland Villages and National Parks....
