Doughboy Retreat provides the perfect weekend getaway accommodation in the Murwillumbah area. With 10 acres of lush rainforest and a meandering crystal clear creek for you to explore, you will love being surrounded by nature. They provide two different accommodation types: private cottage accommodation, and families and group accommodation (coming soon). Doughboy Retreat is located just 30 minutes drive to Mt Warning National Park in one direction, and the Border Ranges National Park in the other. This accommodation just outside of Murwillumbah is more private and secluded than Byron Bay accommodation and yet is a beautiful drive over the mountain range if you want to take in the beautiful beaches for a day visit. The properties are self-contained but a breakfast basket is provided for your convenience. Evening meals at an additional cost can be arranged.
