Among the Gums is set on a 34 acre property right next door to Mount Greville National Park great for bushwalking. Come and relax in their peaceful bushland surroundings, during the cooler months you'll enjoy sitting by the fire and admiring their mountainous views. Their accommodation sleeps five with a queen size bedroom, a smaller bedroom with a single bed inside and a sofa bed in the lounge. Relax on the veranda, where you can enjoy amazing views to The Great Divide and Mount Moon as well as watch the wildlife that pass by. Bunjurgen Estate Vineyard produces award winning Rose styles made solely from grapes grown on the property, an outstanding Sparkling Verjuice and a still Shiraz Verjuice, medium dry Chambourcin reds, and an exciting port selection of a White, a Cherry and a Tawny - their famous Bunyip Port. Wine tastings are conducted in a very relaxed and informal manner outdoors under a jacaranda tree with an open fire on cold days: in summer either outdoors, in the shade or even in the Barrel Room at 15 to 18 degrees Celsius on the very hot days! Four picnic areas are provided and visitors are welcome to bring their own food and enjoy the facilities, views and peace. There is a walking track through the vineyard and the range of natural trees and dams on the 24 hectare property are home to a variety of birds: occasionally kangaroos graze on the property. The property has superb views of the Dividing Range, Mount French and other prominent landmarks. Weddings and functions are hosted at the Vineyard at selected times. The vineyard has established a strong reputation for hospitality, quality, and generosity of spirit and is a very pleasant spot to linger....

MotoFest

The second edition of MotoFest is ready to roll at Queensland Moto Park (near Boonah) on November 27, 2016. The event is a showcase of all things motorcycle sport, offering spectators fast motorcycle racing, downhill mountain biking, trade stalls and displays, dealer demos, a junior motorcycle come ?n try, kids rides, helicopter rides, and much more. There will be four motorcycle events on display including EnduroX, Trials, Vintage Motocross, and even some fun Postie Bike Racing. Anybody aged four to 10 will be able to hop on a bike provided, and give the sport a go under the guise of an accredited coach. Participants will then be able to claim a free recreational Motorcycling Australia Licence, just for hopping on a bike (provided they?ve never had a licence before)!...

Moogerah Peaks National Park

Four ancient volcanic peaks in the fertile Fassifern Valley form the Moogerah Peaks National Park. Hoop pines grow in dry rainforests near the summits. Three of the parks four sections are easily accessed and offer different experiences. Mount French, known internationally for its Frog Buttress rock climbing site, has visitor facilities and a small camping area. The Mount French picnic area has lookouts with views to Cunninghams Gap and Lamington National Park. Logans lookout (previously known as the North Cliff lookout) has wheelchair access. Mount Edwards can be reached after a picnic on the bank of Lake Moogerah and climbed by the fit for views of the surrounding countryside. On craggy Mount Greville, experienced walkers will enjoy exploring palm and waterfall gorges....
