Set in the quiet rural area of Urbenville, visit and enjoy the peace and quiet. Advance bookings only must be made. The facility is closed the second weekend of each month. No motorbike riding is allowed. There are three distinct areas, all unpowered, at this facility with varying grades of camping/facilities. The main area has hot showers, septic, barbecue areas, outside kitchen area, bonfire area at each camp site, wheelie bins and recycle bins. The next area has pit toilet, cold showers (with a wood fired copper for heating water). The third is a nicely grassed area with no amenities, but has access to bins and bonfire areas which is great for motorhomes or those who are self contained.

Levuka Rainforest Recreation Park is family friendly and offers extensive camping grounds with privacy, hot showers, flushing toilets, and all weather access. Levuka is an environmentally sustainable ing cattle property and is managed to be family friendly. A net of 4WD tracks is available for the enthusiast, graded from medium to challenging (no motorbikes). You can enjoy bushwalking among the old growth rainforest. There are two waterfalls on two creeks. Dogs like camping too and are welcome. Open all year, Levuka has a low density camping policy, so that even on the busiest weekend you have privacy and a place to yourself on spacious 60 acre camping grounds with no dust problems. Concrete pathways have been installed to the amenities block, and general upgrading of tracks around the property occurred during late 2009. You can now bring your own canoes, kayaks, and life jackets to enjoy time on the lake.

Woodenbong Camping Ground is a quaint rural camping area tended to by volunteers of Woodenbong village which caters for tents, caravans, RV and motorhomes. Powered sites available. There is a small shelter and a large undercover area with seating, electric barbecues and sink with preparation benches, clean amenities with hot showers. A free dump point is available. The campground is set on the edge of Woodenbong, near the creek and adjacent to the swimming pool. outdoor gym and skate park and has a small playground, making it child friendly. The ground is pleasant walk to local shops, the golf club and town facilities. Pet friendly - dogs are permitted. Woodenbong Driveway, Unumgar Street, handles the bookings and payments and amenity block keys. If closed Fay's Take Away or Woodenbong Hotel, Unumgar Street. There is also a donation box at the grounds and this property is maintained by local resident volunteers....

Bed linen and towels are provided for the main bedroom only. Being self-contained you need to bring all your own food supplies and personal items. Don't forget suitable walking boots/shoes and attire and linen for the second bedroom (if necessary). Also pack your camera, binoculars, and good book. No phone, no television, but so much to do.

Tooloom Falls

Swimming possible on the high side of the falls, although some go down on the low side of the falls to swim. Fantastic walks on the other side of the falls. Walk right and immediately right again down the track to the river and walk along the river. It is a very quiet place now. Once it was full of dirt bike riders but not any more, they are banned from riding in the forest. The river can be muddy after rain but the area is nice and clean....
