It features three spacious themed bedrooms all with Queen sized beds, a large Victorian bathroom, modern kitchen and large adjoined dining and lounge room. The lounge folds out into a double sofa bed and there is also a day bed to sleep an extra person. The cottage is family friendly offering a cot and a highchair. Your nightly rate includes fresh linen and towels, a light breakfast, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and biscuits. There is undercover secure parking and the cottage is located in a quiet street with wonderful neighbours. Located 4.2 kilometres from Bombala on the Delegate Road, the Platypus Reserve is an ideal spot to see platypus. Early morning or late afternoon are the best times to see platypus. The raised platform makes viewing easy for all age groups. Platypus can stay underwater for up to 14 minutes, but more commonly they will only remain under for between 60 to 90 seconds, so be patient and quiet when you are viewing this national treasure. The on-site information board provides you with comprehensive details about the platypus. The reserve is a great spot to sit and enjoy lunch or simply soak up the peace and quiet.
