The event offers two fantastic days of competitions, demonstrations and displays of working horses and farming methods used in years past. This unique event showcases Clydesdale horses as "Gentle Giants" and enriches patrons of all generations with an educational and engaging rural heritage experience. Having experienced first-hand how their ancestors lived and worked on the land, visitors will take away with them a greater appreciation of the pioneers of our glorious region - the Riverina. Camping available at the showgrounds - must be self-contained....

The 'Big Tennis Racquet' erected in the Evonne Goolagong Park, Yapunyah Street, Barellan, was unveiled in October 2009 during the Barellan Centenary celebrations, as a tribute to the former Barellan local and great Australian tennis player, Evonne Goolagong Cawley. The completed racquet is an exact 20:1 scale model of Evonne's battered wooden signature Dunlop racquet....
