The Tor is a delightful country cottage surrounded by 22 acres of rolling hills, sleeping up to six guests. The Cottage at White Birch Farm is a charming sunny and cosy retreat, set on a beautiful 25 acre hobby farm in the NSW Southern Highlands. It is fully self contained. The Cottage is north facing, with stunning rural views from every sun-filled window, all the way to the Blue Mountains.There are two bedrooms, sleeping four people in total. Bedroom one is a queen bed, bedroom two has two king single beds.Tariff includes all linen, towels, bedding, tea and coffee and free wifi. Reverse cycle air conditioning is in the living room and there are oil heaters and electric blankets in the bedrooms.There is a flat screen 3D TV in the lounge, and DVDs, books and games are provided. The well equipped kitchen includes an electric stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and cooking utensils. A gas BBQ is on the verandah. The cottage is on town water supply. The rumpus room underneath has a table tennis table, washing machine and dryer.The building is nestled in three acres of beautiful old established gardens including Japanese maples, magnolias, rhododendrons, azaleas and hundreds of bulbs.Our pastures support 13 friendly sheep, two alpacas, three donkeys and some cattle. They all have names! We have also recorded 70 species of birds on the property. Our farm includes a unique 12 acre rainforest with an informative signposted walk you are welcome to explore. We have recently planted an arboretum and are in the process of establishing a Japanese garden.We have a large studio that was recently used by Australia?s greatest living artist John Olsen, to paint his biggest work since the Sydney Opera House mural ? so why not bring your easel and spend a week painting on our beautiful country property (by prior arrangement only). Also ideal for musicians to rehearse (classical not rock! we don?t want to scare the animals!).
