Take tea on the terrace or just sit on one of the many seats, soak up the atmosphere of peace and serenity, watch some of Inverawe's 101 bird species bustle about. All twelve endemic bird species have been seen here. Bring a note book and list plants you want for your own garden. They're identified by name. Borrow some of our landscaping ideas. French explorers and early botanists anchored in the bay and fetched water from our river. Interpretive signs tell that story. Ten thousand native plants have gone into this fourteen-year-old garden, supplementing natural regeneration. Plants are chosen for minimum water requirements and sustainability. Paths, rock walls, sculpture and poetry enhance your experience. You'll be met on arrival, introduced to the garden and given a coloured map to help you navigate around this extensive garden. Guided tours are available on request....
