Come to Bowning for a weekend full of fun, there will be something for everyone to enjoy and explore including Singers, Entertainment, Market Stalls, Antique Farm Machinery Display, Baby Animal Farm, Sheep Shearing, Wool Spinning and these are just some of the exciting things that will be happening on the day. Fun for all ages young and old. Entry fee will be a gold coin donation, with all proceeds going to CanAssist....

Crisp Galleries

Gap Range, Bowning NSW 2582
The Crisp Galleries are located on the Hume Highway, just beyond the village of Bowning. There is a gallery, a gift shop with a selection of gift ware and gourmet food gifts, the geranium nursery and working studio plus a stunning garden. The current studio is home to the work of Peter Crisp. Housing the famous Bombay Gin Chalice seen in worldwide advertising, plus the world's most expensive perfume bottle. The very first experimental pieces can be seen here with one off museum pieces and a range of tableware which Peter has become recognised for around the world. The Gift Gallery, Glass Gallery and performance space are set in a magical three hectare garden of designed plant themed 'rooms' which will interest gardeners one and all. The gardens contain surprises around every bend-created over fifteen years. The Performance Space is also used for functions, concerts and visiting artists....

Bowning Antique Centre

When visiting Bowning drop into Aladdin's Cave better known as the Bowning Antique Centre. Just like in the ancient fairy tale you will find something to suit every person. Items range from beautiful antique furniture, light fittings, glassware, china and ceramics to antiques of the future. Additionally there are heaps of collectables including prints, lithographs, etchings and movie posters along with retro jewellery (1920s to 1970s), garagenalia, tools, sports cards, bar and hotel ephemera, badges, Coca Cola memorabilia and lots of passenger ship and airline memorabilia and ephemera. If all this exploring of the Bowning Antique Centre becomes tiring just seek out the comfy chair in the book corner and browse one of the many books or listen to one of their extensive collection of records which include 78's, LP's and singles....

Rollonin Cafe

The Rollonin Cafe is family owned and operated in historic Bowning, just west of Yass on the Hume Highway. Great food is on offer, including awesome Illy coffee and good old fashioned service is provided with a smile. Set in a 'Slab Hut' designed and built to replicate local buildings from the 1800's, the Rollonin Cafe offers an authentic country experience for everybody. Visitors travel back in time with the interior walls lined with newspapers from the 1900's and a beautiful cottage garden outside. There is truly something for everyone to enjoy. Ever popular with families, you will often find kids outside meeting some of the farm animals including Mac the Clydesdale, Daisy the Cow, Woolly the Sheep just to name a few that are close enough to pat. All while Mum and Dad enjoy a coffee and bite to eat while taking a break from the car or simply catching up with friends. A beautiful rustic outdoor function area for those special occasions for example weddings, birthday parties and family reunions and bookings are required....

The Bowning Hotel is a fully licensed venue which offers a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. They have ATM and TAB facilities, a fully enclosed entertainment area with TV, Pool Table, Karaoke machine and wood heating in Winter. *** Closed from April 21 - September 10, 2017 for renovations*** Historic Coodravale Homestead is located in the beautiful and picturesque Goodradigbee Valley, just over an hour from Canberra. A.B 'Banjo' Paterson lived at Coodravale with his family from 1908 to 1911 but sold his share of the property to the Lindeman (Wine) family, who built the current homestead in 1923. The homestead comprises a large federation style bungalow and is set in a large park like garden with frontage onto the Goodradigbee River at Wee Jasper. The western wing of the homestead "The Garden Wing" is now available as a fully self-contained guest wing, offering guests a superior level of accommodation in a unique Australian Homestead. The accommodation consist of a spacious and well appointment bedroom with ensuite, spacious living and dining area with a fully equipped adjacent kitchenette, a small room off the bedroom provides additional space for privacy....
