By 1950, the gardens were planted with rhododendrons, azaleas, gardenias and other exotics in harmony with native trees and ferns, highlighting the seventy two varieties of camellias. Some of the original camellias still exist in the gardens today and are now over fifty years old. The gardens now boast over ninety varieties of camellias, a covered pavilion for weddings and other celebrations, a shade house containing the fish ponds, a gazebo, three waterfalls, informal lawn areas, picnic tables, and a rainforest walk....

Terrain

Corner Church and Market Streets, Parramatta NSW 2150
Lake Eyre (Kati Thanda) - the place of Australia's inland sea: one of the few untouched natural waterways in the world. Time simply does not exist. Day is measured by the length of shadows, a month by the level of salt crust on the surface, years by the rise and fall of the water. Award-winning Aboriginal artists - choreographer Frances Rings, composer David Page and set designer Jacob Nash - create a powerful and evocative production inspired by the timeless beauty of Lake Eyre. A powerful fusion of contemporary dance and storytelling, Terrain takes the audience on a journey through drought and deluge where nature delivers in abundance, promises all but guarantees nothing. Sydney Hills Shakespeare in the Park

Bella Vista Farm, Bella Vista NSW 2153
A double bill of moonlit romance, of men behaving badly and women winning the day, with a swift kick up the backside for a culture that is still discussing the rights and rules of marriage equality centuries after the greatest poets shot Cupid's arrows right back at him. These are two of the world's perfect comedies - The Importance of Being Earnest, by Oscar Wilde, and Shakespeare's only entirely original comedy, Love's Labour's Lost, the play most closely tied to his staggering series of Sonnets, to this day the most popular love poetry ever written. Sport For Jove, brings this unknown gem to the stage in a full Elizabethan setting, fusing the sonnets and the play into a passionate study of the act of artistic creation. Summer Season 7 will give these wonderful plays a vigorous outdoor life in the glorious surrounds of Bella Vista Farm in Baulkham Hills....
