St Marys Seaview Farm is the perfect place to relax with warm fires, beautiful gardens, breathtaking views and great walks. Accommodation is either in the 100 year old Sky Cottage (three bedrooms, sleeps seven in single beds, shared facilities) or in the ensuite units (three double, one twin share). All have linen, and the units, with magnificent views of ocean, mountains and timbered hills, also have tea, coffee, electric blankets and heaters. The large kitchen in the cottage is shared by all guests but the cottage guests have their own cosy lounge with wood fire. It is BYO food but there are free herbs picked fresh from the garden. Chemical-free beef and lamb grown on the farm, as well as blueberries, can be purchased on site, when arranged prior to stay. For those unfamiliar with animals, you can feed and touch pet sheep, see the dog round up the sheep or get close to the cows. There also are three over-friendly dogs. Seaview Farm is a destination in itself as well as being central to many East Coast attractions.

Lumera Chalets is an oasis snuggled below a large knobbly outcrop mountain known affectionately as St Patricks Head (Lumera Genena Wuggelena) over looking the East Coast of Tasmania, it provides travellers with an ancient sense of protection and safety as well as the most sensational coastal panorama in all of Australia and Tasmania. The history of our unique piece of Tasmania can be traced back some 30,000 years to a time when it was an important hunting ground for the Tasmanian Aborigines. It was home to the Ben Lomond Tribe (Plangermaireener) and frequently visited by bands from the Oyster Bay Tribe (Paredarerme), who travelled up from their East Coast territory via a route past St Patricks Head. Named by Tobias Furneaux on St Patricks Day in 1773, St Patricks Head was known to the Aborigines as Lumera Genena Wuggelina, which means 'a great molar tooth'. The peaked mountain at the eastern end of the Fingal Valley was an essential land mark for Aboriginal people as well as holding significant spiritual values....
