The Booth family invites you to join the winemaker's table for the Generations IV Long Lunch. This gathering at the winery will be about family, friends and good food and wine over a couple of hours as the afternoon drifts away. We will feature seasonal produce and a range of wines to complement the five course menu by award winning chef, Adam Pizzini of Rinaldo's. The wine list will also include a variety of wines specially selected by the winemaker with some selections available for purchase on the day. A return bus service will be provided to collect lunch guests from Wangaratta. It will be an informal afternoon of food, wine and conversation at a slow pace. We only have 50 places available so please book early to reserve your seats. When making your lunch booking we recommend that you make your accommodation reservation also. Auldstone Cellars is a newly restored, century old winery in the Glenrowan region having been Bailey's second vineyard for many years and purchased by the Reid family in 1987. Winemaker, Michael Reid, has established a reputation for traditional full-bodied reds and their sparkling Shiraz is terrific. Booth's Taminick Cellars is one of the family-owned wineries that make Australia's wine story so fascinating. The old granite winery occupies an isolated slope in the shadow of the forests and inclines of the timeless Warby ranges. Taminick Cellars has been owned by the Booth family since 1904.the beginning of last century. Wine lovers can enjoy tastings in the century old cellar which is lined with a selection of the original cavernous barrels. There are full flavoured red wines such as Shiraz, Durif and Cabernet Sauvignon with some estate vines dating back to 1919. The Italian varietal Nero d'Avola was planted in 2008 and is a welcomed addition to the red wine list. Luscious Muscat, Ports, refreshing whites and Rose are also produced. Visitors can try a handcrafted beer from the on-site brewery. Black Dog Brewery produces four preservative-free beers in the core range with limited release specialty beers also brewed. Accommodation is available in the winery's self-contained cottage. Winery functions and festivals are held during the year.The Hop versus Grape dinner in May, Trails, Tastings and Tales Food and Wine Festival on the June long weekend and the Glenrowan Winemakers' Weekend in October are events sure to please....

Black Dog Brewery is a craft brewery located at Taminick Cellars winery in the heart of Glenrowan Wine region in North East Victoria. Black Dog Brewery's beers are hand crafted from premium malted barley, hops and yeast strains with pure Warby Range water. Hand crafted small batch brews made using traditional techniques and no preservatives ensure each beer is of the highest quality, the way beers are meant to be. Come and enjoy their brews on tap on Saturday and Sundays in the 100 year old cellar door building at Taminick Cellars, or pick up some of their packaged product to takeaway Thursday to Monday 12pm to 5pm. ...
