Goodwood Station is a 90,000 acre, third generation owned and run Pastoral enterprise incorporating shearers quarters accommodation as well as sites for campers, caravans and campervans. We are also RV friendly. Outstanding geology, plant and animal life - plenty of space to birdwatch, bushwalk or do absolutely nothing. Experience White Cliffs Opal Fields (46 kilometres) and visit the Tourist Information Centre at the White Cliffs Outback Store, our lovely twon Cafe and Showrooms. Undertake a (working) Opal Mine tour, White Cliffs Tourist drive, History & Cultural Centre tour and see our Pioneer graves. Explore Paroo Darling National Park (next door) with Peery Lake 45 minutes drive north. Tours available through NPWS during April, July and September School holidays, and upon prior arrangement for groups of eight or more. Catered morning tea and/or lunch available at the Goodwood Station House upon request for groups of four or more.

The White Cliffs Underground Motel is built mostly underground providing you with an opportunity to share a unique lifestyle - sleeping underground is a unique experience. Dugouts are so-called because they are dug in the rock. Regardless of the heat of the Australian outback, dugouts enjoy a constant 22?C temperature all year round. They are perfectly dry, well ventilated and environmentally sound as there is never the need to use a heater or air-conditioning. White Cliffs - with a landscape that could be compared to a lunar-scape - has Opal showrooms, solar powerstation, an airstrip and the Underground Motel has a helipad - so you can fly or drive.
