Wyangala Waters State Park is located on the shores of Wyangala Dam. Our Accommodation and Caravan Camp sites are perfectly located to the wineries of Cowra and Canowindra. Only 30 minutes drive from Cowra and Woodstock you will be able to relax on your veranda with a glass of local wine and enjoy the water views wildlife and fantastic colours of sunset. There are numerous walking trails within the Park and plenty of great fishing spots to enjoy. With the water levels being the best it has been in 10 years it is the perfect time to visit. The on-site Kiosk & Service Station can supply all your essentials & Sticks Steakhouse restaurant provides dinner overlooking the dam. The dam has been restocked with Trout, Cod & Golden Perch. Fishing fans can catch their bag. Wyangala village offers a Golfcourse, Paintball and the local Country Club with Pokies and the full menu Bistro is sure to tempt you no matter how you spent your day here Wyangala Waters. Wyangala Waters Holiday and Recreation Park is located a short drive from Cowra, at the junction of the Lachlan and Abercrombie Rivers. The lake is a vast expanse of water and when full has a surface area that is two and half times the size of Sydney Harbour. The surrounding area offers excellent accommodation and camping facilities. There are bungalows, cottages, cabins and even a couple of houseboats. There are also plenty of powered and unpowered grassy campsites with some backwaters camping areas for the more adventurous. There are many activities available in the park including power boating, canoeing, sailing, water slides, walking trails and beaches just for relaxing. Day visitors are very welcome as the park offers excellent picnic and barbecue facilities. Fishermen can expect to catch trout, silver perch, yellow belly, catfish, Murray cod and more.

A registered sports club providing golf, lawn bowls, cricket and tennis facilities to the community and visitors to the area. They're also the social hub of Wyangala where the locals gather to catch up. They have weekly meat raffles and members' badge draws, as well has Happy Hour twice a week, darts tournaments and pool comps. The Bistro is open for dinner Friday to Sunday and for lunch on Saturday and Sunday. During school holidays, they're open for dinner during the week as well.
