The mine is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 8.30 to 3.30pm, every day during Queensland Public School Holidays and all public holidays except Christmas Day and Good Friday. The admission price includes a mining permit, a pick, shovel, and a bucket to hold the treasure.
The ropes course offers a range of challenges from relatively easy to very strenuous. Choose your challenge and enjoy hours of high adventure. Hang on to the ropes and take a flying fox ride through towering eucalyptus trees, crawl through tunnels, play action movie jungle games and tumble through the air. Dive courses are conducted at their modern training centre with Cairns' deepest diver training pool and their three multi-million dollar dive boats are the only purpose built outer reef liveaboards in the area that can travel around from reef to reef. Dive courses and liveaboard trips commence six times a week to add flexibility to your itinerary.
