Vineyard establishment commenced in 1992 and is owned, developed and operated by Alan Herath and Jan Reed. The small Vineyard is hand nurtured, picked and pruned with wine complexity and style starting in the vineyard based on a wide variety of selected grape types, soils and slopes.

Disabled car parking is available three metres from the cellar door and there are no steps from the car park to cellar door. Closed June and July, except by appointment.

Pepper Street Arts Centre is a lively arts environment supporting creative endeavour and excellence, promoting arts appreciation and education, and providing for social engagement across the artistic and wider community. Formerly the Magill School, the Pepper Street Arts Centre is part of the City of Burnside's cultural program. The Centre offers: Exhibitions held monthly; Gift Shop offering high quality work from South Australian artists and crafts workers; Art Classes in the June Colligan Artist's Studio; The Pepper Club - become a member of Pepper Street Arts Centre and receive a wide range of benefits! Pepper News is available from the Centre and other council venues for bimonthly information about all Pepper Street programs. The centre also has Dorrit's Coffee Shop; A Weaver-In-Residence; and art books and magazines for loan. We have an active group of volunteers who assist in the day to day duties of Pepper Street Arts Centre during open hours. If you are interested in art, would enjoy contributing to a busy environment, and are self motivated this could be the place for you.

Classic Carriage Drives offers the unique experience of riding by horse and carriage in style. Travel through Montacute Valley (20 minutes from Adelaide central business district) in the picturesque Adelaide Hills through working orchards and native bushland. The authentic European oak carriage comfortably seats six to eight passengers in a 'vis-a-vis' (meaning face to face) arrangement led by the beautiful Percheron mare, Montana. Rides are offered on weekends or mid-week (weather dependent) and you are welcome to pack a picnic. It's an ideal holiday activity suitable for all ages or to celebrate any occasion. A 45 minute ride is AUD180.00 total for six to eight passengers. An off-site service for private or public events is also available (please enquire). Beaumont House is a Heritage listed building owned by the National Trust of South Australia. Built by Adelaide's first Anglican Bishop, Bishop Short, in 1847, during its long history the house has been the home of leading pioneer businessman Sir Samuel Davenport and was one of the first locations of plantings of olive groves and grape vines in South Australia. Guided tours of the House, Gardens and surrounding areas are available highlighting the history and heritage of the property. Afternoon tea is also available on open days. Car parking is available in visitor’s car park or on the street. Historic Beaumont House is also available for private and corporate functions by appointment. Groups, bus tours, school tours, walking tours and community group tours are all welcome, with afternoon tea included.

A very small winery in the European mould established in 1982. The fine elegant wines, plus bigger bodied wines made for the second label, Galah, are available for tasting at the friendly and bucolic cellar door where the winemaker is often in attendance. Ashton Hills Vineyard lies just below the summit of Mount Lofty on a ridge top overlooking the Piccadilly Valley. The wines reflect the regions cool and humid climate and have fine flavours with a lingering finish. The cellar door opened in 1991. Specialising in dry white and red table wines and sparkling wines. Grapes grown include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling.
