The Milton Theatre is an intimate 200 seat historic theatre which has been fully refurbished with latest sound and lighting equipment; it has great ambience and excellent acoustics, suitable for live performances, plays, opera and dance. Situated 260 kilometres south of Sydney in the Milton-Ulladulla area. Originally the Milton School of Arts built in 1927; the Milton Theatre has a long history as a major feature of the Milton community landscape. It was a picture theatre from 1929 with dancing and other community events and activities. From 1976 until 1993 the theatre was used solely as a movie theatre until it was closed for extensive renovations. These were carried out in 1997 and the theatre has been managed by a community based management committee under the Shoalhaven City Council. The building is now used for live theatre, a recording studio and for community performances.

Millhouse Art Gallery is set in the beautiful town of Milton and displays works by local artists whose range of expertise covers the traditional to contemporary. Milhouse Art Society is a community based group of professional and amateur artists with a love of art and fellowship.

Millhouse Courtyard Gallery (opp. Milton P.O.) opens weekends and school holidays from 10am-4pm with free admission. 4 exhibitions a year showcasing the artwork of Millhouse artists. A variety of work from traditional to contemporary at very reasonable prices.  Something for everyone! 

Also visit Ulladulla Civic Centre (opposite the harbour) for Millhouse Annual Xmas Exhibition which opens daily from 9.30am-4.30pm from 28th December 2014 to 11th January 2015.  An exciting collection of artwork by the Millhouse artists.

At Easter watch out for another big exhibition in the Ulladulla Civic Centre. Dates yet to be determined.

Milton Showground Camping area is a great spot for overnight or longer, with water and power, hot showers and toilets. It has four designated camping areas within the ground, signposted on power boxes. There is a public toilet/shower block underneath the lower Pavilion as you enter the ground. There is also a public toilet block without showers on the eastern side of the showground, but camping is not permitted on the eastern side. The dump point is located below the Croquet Lawn. Dogs are permitted but must be under control at all times. The maximum number of nights permitted for individual stay is 50 in any 12 month period, with a limit of 28 consecutive nights, with a break of at least 14 days before returning.
