In the years since its opening in 1975, Glen Eira City Council's Gallery has established a prominent reputation within the Melbourne public gallery scene. Located on the ground floor of the historic Glen Eira Town Hall, access to the Gallery is gained through the majestic classically-styled portico on the corner of Glen Eira and Hawthorn Roads, Caulfield.

Through the exhibition and regular rotation of Council’s permanent art collection in public areas of the Town Hall, and the production of survey shows of prominent contemporary Melbourne artists and craftspeople, the Gallery plays an important part in contributing to a rich cultural life for the residents of Glen Eira and the wider community. In addition to the production of these exciting exhibitions, the Gallery also co-ordinates two major art awards, including the Silk Cut Award and the Alice Bale Art Award.

The Gallery is also a popular hire space for local artists. In addition to assuring an exhibition program rich in diversity and scope, the use of the Gallery as a hire space also provides a forum for local artists to show their work within a professionally equipped space at competitive rates. Floor to ceiling panels can be moved to divide the Gallery into one-third, half or a flexible full gallery space.
 

Heide Museum of Modern Art began life in 1935 as the home of John and Sunday Reed and has since evolved into one of Australia’s most important cultural institutions.

Heide, as it is affectionately known, has built a national reputation based on the compelling lives of the Reeds and their central role in the development of modern Art in Australia. Inspired by the nurturing of the young artists of their generation – including Sidney Nolan, Albert Tucker, Joy Hester, John Perceval and Charles Blackman - Heide continues to support and promote the contemporary art of today through its exhibition and collection program.

Comprising 15 acres of gardens and parkland, the Heide site includes three separate gallery spaces, two heritage-listed kitchen gardens, a sculpture park and café.

The Astor Theatre is a Mount Lawley institution. This iconic art deco building on Beaufort Street has been reinvented once again and this time it's about more than just movies.

The Astor Theatre is a live music venue, a performance space and a movie theatre all contained within unique, heritage listed walls. The Oats Factory is located in Carlisle. Situated opposite to the Oats Street bus and train station, the space is just a few minutes from the Perth CBD. The premises have been recently renovated and now accommodate 5 artist studios and a large contemporary exhibition space.

The Oats Factory showcases the work of emerging artists engaged in all areas of contemporary arts practice. Through a diverse program and community focussed events we hope to develop relationships with the local community and introduce new audiences to contemporary art.

East and West Art Gallery was established in 1973 at High Street, Armadale before moving to High Street, East Kew in 1989. The primary focus has been a commitment to exhibit the best in Asian Art to complement its Asian antiques from 3000 BCE to 19th Century. The gallery has developed into one of the major representatives of prominent Asian artists worldwide.

Director and founder Marjorie Ho is a certified valuer to all the State and regional Galleries of Australia. She has discovered and broken grounds in Australia with South-East Asian ceramics and textiles, as well as many famous Asian Artists for the public tio view and collect.

The range of work is astounding: Contemporary and Antique Paintings, Woodblock Prints,
Sculptures, Weavings and Ceramics. Each year five solo or mixed exhibitions are held. Between these, collections of representative artist’s works are available.

The gallery also exhibits antiques from all over East Asia and China. Discovering antique ceramics in small countries previously seldom shown in Australia and subsequently collected by many of the major State and Regional Galleries for their collections. THE DULDIG STUDIO—a “house museum”—comprises the residence, sculpture garden and artists’ studio of the internationally renowned sculptor Karl Duldig (1902–1986) and his artist-inventor wife, Slawa Duldig (neé Horowitz, c1902–1975).

Both a cultural and educational resource, the museum holds an extensive collection of sculptures, paintings, drawings and decorative arts presented in the artists’ authentic home setting.

The Duldig Studio is a not-for-profit deductible gift recipient public museum and art gallery.

A space in which artists can invite people to wonder The “Chapel on Station Gallery”, located in central St Box Hill, is a gallery established by the Box Hill Baptist Church. Our first Gallery was opened in regional Victoria in 1995 by the Treasurer and Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, The Honourable Ralph Willis, and we were proud to have in attendance at that opening such luminaries as (the late) Rover Thomas and Queenie McKenzie.
