Thunderbird Park is a wildlife and geological oasis. Find treasure in the world's largest thunderegg mine. Thundereggs range from a few grams to over 600 kilograms. Most are filled with agate and other quartz varieties. The mine is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 8.30 to 3.30pm, every day during Queensland Public School Holidays and all public holidays except Christmas Day and Good Friday. The admission price includes a mining permit, a pick, shovel, and a bucket to hold the treasure.

The ropes course offers a range of challenges from relatively easy to very strenuous. Choose your challenge and enjoy hours of high adventure. Hang on to the ropes and take a flying fox ride through towering eucalyptus trees, crawl through tunnels, play action movie jungle games and tumble through the air. Choose from a range of adventure games. The course is open to adults and children (height requirements apply). Jump suits and harnesses are supplied, covered footwear must be worn. What could a person need after a long and tiring week of work assignments and home chores? The most relaxing and comfortable way for women to pamper themselves after an exhaustive week is a Moroccan steam bath followed by a relaxing massage.The Moroccan Hammam is a "must" feel experience. You will begin your visit with a personalized Moroccan rinse and a hair wash. A specialized masseuse will cover you with Moroccan soap, a black soap in the form of a thick gel, for 10 minutes waiting for the body pores to open from the steam. The masseuse starts to perform the Moroccan exfoliation treatment, where dead skin cells are removed from your body. You remain lying down and are covered with a 'purifying' clay enriched with minerals. The body masque is left on your skin for approximately 15 minutes, allowing the body’s impurities to rise to the surface. The room is then filled with hot steam and the clay is rinsed off. This Moroccan experience ends with your body being lightly massaged and pampered with hydrating natural Moroccan oil, essential for healthy skin, to add radiance and glow to the skin. Your body is then powdered and rubbed with exotic Arabic perfumes.
