The Albany Creek Tavern was built around 1983 as a small Hotel in the countryside of the Pine Rivers Shire. Through time the Tavern has evolved to it's current state, being a multi award winning venue that is recognised as a contributing member of the community.

The rumjungle has a renowned TAB facility located right in the main bar. With a well equipped TAB facility you are sure to get that bet on the good horse! The TAB is always open from first to last race and you can view the races on our very own big screen. The Hut now has 3 large plasma screens with TAB facilities. Open Friday afternoons and all day Saturday. Smoking is permitted in the Hut. All major sporting events are screened in the Hut where smoking is permitted.

Our chef Satinder (or Bobby as he is known locally) has been cooking Indian dishes for over 15 years. Over this time he has perfected the tastes of India and now you have the opportunity to enjoy them too.

When you arrive or call you will be met by Pam who has been involved with Indian restaurants for most of her life. She enjoys making her guests feel comfortable and explaining the various dishes on the menu.  There may even be a treat for the kids too!
