We are open for dinner 7 days from 6:00pm to late. We are fully licensed with the option for BYO wine only and corkage is $3.00 per person drinking wine.

Indiyum traces its origins to the years to GJ’s childhood. He first discovered his passion for cooking and food while watching his mom cook the most delicious meals for the family. He went on to take his formal training in hotel management in India, and he further learnt culinary art in Japan. With his formal training completed, he took off to roam and discover the world in all its flavours and tastes!

Then one day, he landed in Australia and fell in love with the vegemite and he became an Aussie at heart. One momentous sunny day, he visited Caloundra with friends while on a holiday. Naturally his first pursuit was to seek a restaurant where they could have authentic Indian food. They were shocked to know that Caloundra had none. The residents told him- “ Help us! We are all dying to have delicious Indian food, but there is none available around here”.

Our menu consists of popular dishes such as pizza, pasta, minestrone, scaloppine and risotto. Our authentically Italian food is complemented by an extensive range of seafood, steak, veal and chicken dishes.

The interior décor is very traditional, evoking an old-world Italian charm, and the covered alfresco dining area is also very popular.

Our restaurant’s atmosphere is warm and inviting due mainly to our friendly & experienced staff who genuinely enjoy their work.

Joseph Alhalaby (owner / chef) Gold coast in 1990 as head chef in Broadbeach restaurants such as Bellissimo, Cosmopolitan, and Alfresco among others. Started own restaurant pronto Italian and Mediterranean restaurant in Broadbeach before moving to Caloundra in 1998 and opening Villa Tango Italian Restaurant at the lower end of Bullcock street and expanding his popular family restaurant in 2000 to its current location, now incorporating the restaurant and new addition of bar. With many years of experience behind it Villa Tango offers diners the true experience of cuisine originating from Northern and Southern Italy and the Mediterranean. Villa tango was the first restaurant in Caloundra CBD to introduce with the support of the council, outdoor dining and a quality takeaway menu. Welcome everyone to Saltwater at Kings. I am Hemant, after a long time devoted in the field of hospitality  ultimately I decided to follow one of my dreams and open a swimwear store right in the middle of the restaurant. It’s never a dull moment at Saltwater and my mind is always ticking away for my next crazy idea, much to the stress of my very  patient friend and well wisher.
