Welcome to Jurassic Parkville where towering life-sized animatronic dinosaurs have arrived at Melbourne Zoo for the first time. Spectacular, moving mega-beasts - including an enormous Tyrannosaurus Rex – take over the Zoo’s newly-landscaped Dino Lab, which also features baby dinosaurs and a Dino nest perfect for humans needing a nap or an photo opportunity. There is also an Incubation Station with a breeding program in full swing, a Dino Dig where children can excavate fossils, and daily activities at the Zoo’s Dino Field Research Station. Special swipe cards give access to amazing dino facts and information about how dinosaurs are linked to some of today’s endangered species. ...

Spend one of your Sunday afternoons at Melbourne Zoo. Wander around the beautiful gardens, see the amazing animals then join us in the Rainforest Room for a beautiful High Tea. Your High Tea package includes a selection of savoury and sweet items served with tea, coffee, soft drinks and juice. There are two sittings, a 10:00am brunch sitting and a 1:00pm afternoon sitting that also includes a glass of sparkling on arrival. Both sittings are beautifully presented with a buffet selection and tiered trays to the table from our on-site kitchen and pastry chefs. Sparkling and other beverages are also available for purchase on the day. Come for the wonderful High Tea and stay for the animals.
