Burrinjuck Waters is amongst the great places in NSW for both casual and avid bushwalkers. A variety of trails have been developed, ranging from the easy to the more challenging. The famous 370 kilometre long Hume and Hovell Walking Track also passes through the park.
Popular with visitors and locals, as well as keen fishing enthusiasts, Lake Burrinjuck is home to the famous Murray Cod, as well as Golden Perch (yellow belly). Other species such as trout, redfin and European carp are targeted on a regular basis.
