The main bedroom has queen bed with a spa ensuite, bedroom number two a bunk bed - double on the bottom single on top, bedroom number three a double bed and bedroom four two single beds. The house features a fully self contained kitchen, LCD television with DVD player and complimentary DVDs to watch in the lounge area in front of a wood heater fire for the wintry nights. As the accommodation is located just out of Oatlands, it is ideal for the privacy and quietness. Oatlands is a central location for accessing Hobart, Launceston and Tasmania's East Coast. It is also a close drive to the highlands and lakes area making it a great base for trout fishing. The township of Oatlands has some great places to dine in as well as local antique shops, second hand shops, and a candy store. Oatlands is a one-hour drive (80 km) north of Hobart.

Its intact Georgian townscape offers a complete representation of the architecture, urban design and the cultural heritage of early European settlement. The most noticeable silhouette on the Oatlands skyline and visible from the highway is the Callington Mill. Built in 1837, this Lincolnshire tower mill is the only operating mill of its type in the Southern Hemisphere.
