Originally built by James Donisthorpe Smith (JDS), circa 1872, for his wine and spirit business, this solid brick and stone building has stood the test of time. It is rich in character and includes ornate ceilings and timber over mantles, polished pine floors, 15 foot ceilings, decorative arch way and claw foot bath.
JDS on High has three bedrooms with two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with the essential cooking appliances. The lounge features a television, DVD and CD player, as well as a selection of DVD's, games and books. Outside there is a barbecue and outdoor setting.
