Visit the Carlton Brewhouse, located at Australia’s largest brewery & home of some of Australia’s favorite beers including Carlton Draught & Victoria Bitter. Here you can go on a beer expedition, following the River of Beer through which 150,000 liters of fresh beer flows each day. You’ll be guided through 150 years of brewing history & knowledge as you experience the sheer scale of this iconic facility on the banks of the Yarra. Return to the Brewhouse to sample your favorite brewery fresh beers, savour some lunch, play in the Brewer’s Yard or enjoy some fun and games on our new touch screen display.

The BrewHouse Cafe is open 11.30am - 3.30pm, Monday to Saturday, and Wednesday evenings. Join us for a delicious meal before or after your tour that matches perfectly with one of our fresh, cold beers!

Standard group tours can be booked during Brewhouse regular opening times, Monday-Saturday daytime & Wednesday nights. ‘After Hours’ tours can also be offered Monday & Tuesday nights for groups looking for a more exclusive experience.

The Carlton & United Brewery, Abbotsford Plant, is a genuine working brewery and production numbers vary week to week, as such, we cannot guarantee that all areas of the plant will be fully operational on the day you visit. Please call for an up-to-date production schedule.

Known colloquially as the ‘G, Australia’s favourite stadium the mighty Melbourne Cricket Ground, is the birthplace of Test cricket and the home of Australian football, holding more than 80 events annually and attracting close to four million people.
