Set above the bay, on the south - eastern end of Lamb Island, "Wyrd" has water views across to Russell and Stradbroke Islands. The upper level of this unique cottage contains two bedrooms with a king-size bed in one and two singles in the other. Both have superb water views. Downstairs is a spacious, open plan area with a wood fire and modern kitchen. The dining area has a semicircle of windows offering a spectacular view of islands and waterways. Relax on the deck overlooking the bay and experience the serenity of island life at "Wyrd". This sub-tropical island has an abundance of native flora and fauna, and is edged with mangrove interspersed with sandy beaches. Beyond the waterfront below the cottage, a Marine Reserve has been established to protect dugong and turtle habitat. When crabbing, remember, jennies and undersize males are released, not eaten!
