Exhibition officially opens at 3pm on Sunday 6th December and through to Monday 12th December 2016. During the opening, Jean McAuslan, Director of Exhibitions and Collections (Shrine of Remembrance) will present a floor talk from 2pm....

Family owned and operated, Langmeil is believed to be the home of the oldest known surviving Shiraz vineyard in the world. It was planted in 1843, where the iconic Langmeil Freedom 1843 Shiraz hails.
The winery property was one of the Barossa's original settlements (known as Langmeil), with many of the 1840s buildings still standing today. The abandoned winery was re-established in 1996 and has had considerable success, being awarded the Five Star rating in the James Halliday Australian Wine Competition since 2005.

The Tanunda Liedertafel (1861) has hosted this cabaret style event in the Tanunda Show Hall since 1950. Featuring The Tanunda Liedertafel Male Voice Choir, this year's event will be compered by tenor Brian Gilbertson and feature world class guest artists.
All visitors are seated at long tables and bring shared food and drinks and a cup for "Kaffee" at interval.
Stage activity is assisted by large screens and surround sound.

Apartments on Fiedler offer stylish accommodation in two air conditioned, self contained apartments, situated in a quiet location within walking distance to the main street of Tanunda.

Barossa House has four guest rooms. Our deluxe king bedroom - Jacaranda View Room, is situated upstairs and has an ensuite bathroom with double shower. This room also has its own lounge area with large plasma television /Apple television with Netflix and a private balcony.
A family room with a queen, two single beds and ensuite bathroom has a separate entrance at the rear of the house .
Two other guest rooms have queen beds and ensuite. All guest rooms have tea and coffee provided with coffee plunger, complimentary port and chocolates.
Guest lounge and dining is elegantly styled with reading material and Apple television. Let us spoil you with a sumptuous breakfast cooked just for you and served in our dining room.
