Panorama Estate Legana provides great value self-contained accommodation in the Tamar Valley in Tasmania's north. Accommodation consists of a two bedroom and a three bedroom Georgian cottage. Launceston Holiday Park provides cabin and villa accommodation in Legana just north of Launceston, Tasmania. The park has a choice of standard or deluxe cabins. Standard cabins accommodate between four and six guests and deluxe cabins are designed for two. All cabins have a kitchen, bathroom, linen and some have a spa bath. The park is set on just over three hectares (eight acres) and boasts beautiful gardens, laundry facilities and undercover gas barbecues. Relax in the peaceful parkland setting with shady trees or wander the immaculately presented grounds. Located on the northern fridge of Launceston, the park is within easy driving distance of the Tamar Valley’s many attractions. Spend a leisurely afternoon visiting the cool climate wineries, berry farms and orchards. Book in for an evening meal at one of the picturesque vineyard restaurants or enjoy a boat cruise along the Tamar Valley. Head into the city and explore Cataract Gorge. Take the opportunity to ride on the world’s longest single-span chairlift. Visit the historic mining town of Beaconsfield with its amazing story of rescue and survival. Velo Wines is based at the entrance to the beautiful Tamar Valley in Northern Tasmania. Our Cellar Door and Barrel Room Restaurant welcome visitors five days a week for lunch from Wednesday to Sunday from 1000 - 1600, we are also open Friday and Saturday evenings for dinner 1800 - late.
