The programme of judging and sporting events will include horse ring events for hacks, galloways, leading rein, large and small ponies as well as livestock judging, heavy horse judging, ute muster, woodchopping, show jumping and dog high jumping.
The children will be entertained by the puppet shows and games at the Children's marquee. And of course the whole family can take a look at the animals and machinery in the Grand Parade.

The second Sunday of the month sees the grand old Ranelagh Soldiers Memorial Hall transformed into one of the Huon Valley's premiere markets, with boundless local creativity on display among over 30 stalls, including handcrafts, local produce, delicious food, upcycled, vintage, fashion and antiques.
Local musical acts perform all day at every market on the fabulous old stage, and the two halls are filled with activity, community spirit and colourful stalls. Outside you can find marquees packed with surprises, bargains and fresh produce. And across the road the acclaimed Ranelagh General Store is cooking up a storm and providing locally roasted coffee.

A Taste of the Huon is a celebration of fine food, wine, arts, crafts and entertainment from the Huon Valley, D'Entrecasteaux Channel and Bruny Island regions of Tasmania.
Held at Ranelagh which is only 30 minutes scenic drive south of Hobart, the festival is held over the long weekend in March and is one the most popular regional events in Tasmania drawing over 20,000 people throughout its two day program.
With around 90 stalls the festival is about showcasing some of the finest and freshest quality produce and quality wines the state has to offer, all of which can be found in the abundant cafes, wineries and berry farms that are scattered amongst rolling hills and along the winding Huon River.
Entertainment includes something for everyone, energy sapping activities for the kids leaving parents time to relax and enjoy the cultural delights on offer to the cool strains of jazz....
