During winter, an open fire burns continually in the Great Hall and in summer meals are served in a leafy courtyard with drinks by the pool. Highfield Cottage was built in the early 1900s on Mount Gingenbullen as the Gate Keepers Lodge on the rural retreat of Judge WG Walker. This picturesque timber cottage is of the federation Queen Anne style with a picket fence enclosing the landscaped garden. Relax in the warmth and comfort of a quaint cottage that enjoys true highland panoramic views. The cottage includes modern bathroom and kitchen facilities whilst maintaining its period charm and character. There are three bedrooms, sitting room and dining room. Rates include a breakfast starter hamper. Laundry facilities are also available for longer stays. All inclusive - linen, fresh towels, electric blankets and breakfast starter hamper. Highfield Cottage is nestled on Mount Gingenbullen or what was locally known as "Judge's Hill".

When you stay at Montrose Cottage you will be surrounded by a mature English garden, some planted by the Badgery's, the builders of the original house in circa 1861. Within the well appointed self-contained Montrose Cottage are two queen size beds, a log fire, electric blankets and heater. You will also receive a scrumptious breakfast basket, including berries when in season. Late check-out is available on Sundays by request. Montrose House welcomes you to stay at Montrose Cottage as well as providing you the opportunity to hold weddings, morning and afternoon tea, luncheon garden tours, private functions and conferences in a delightful English garden setting. Montrose Berry Farm surrounds the house and provides you the opportunity to wander through the berries and numerous fruit trees as well as purchase jams, jellies and other tasty products prepared on site. Fully self-contained cottage located in the heart of the Sutton Forest Village. Two uniquely decorated bedrooms, bathroom with spa bathtub with shower over. There are two uniquely decorated bedrooms, one with a breathtaking timber four poster queen sized bed and the other with a charming queen size brass bed overlooking the backyard. The lounge room is furnished with a big cosy leather lounge suite where a large television and DVD player are located. Many movies on DVD are available for your use. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing any meal and the table in the sunny dining area can seat six people. The bathroom has a deep single person spa bath and there are full laundry facilities for use. Decorated with beautiful antiques, the cottage has an authentic heritage look and feel.

Sutton Tops Cottage is ideal for families or groups of friends, accommodating up to six people. The living/dining area leads on to a well-equipped country kitchen. The lounge area has a television, CD/DVD player, and a slow combustion wood fire for those cooler evenings (firewood supplied). The kitchen has a gas top and electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, tea and coffee making facilities, and all utensils to cater for six. Breakfast provisions are supplied for your first day and include eggs, bacon, cereals, bread, butter, milk, tea and coffee. The dining area seats six, or share breakfast in the sun at the table setting on the deck. A gas barbecue is also provided for your use. In the garden there is a full sized bocce court for your enjoyment (equipment provided). A lovely quiet location.
