Lord Somers Camp is a fully catered and accredited campsite located approximately 60 minutes south-east of Melbourne, on the Mornington Peninsula. Our seven acre site on the Victorian coastline hosts up to 260 guests in fully enclosed accommodation with fantastic indoor and outdoor facilities. With many years experience in group accommodation, hospitality and outdoor education, the staff at Merricks Lodge are dedicated to providing groups with excellent service. Management and staff are on-site 24 hours to assist if required. Merricks Lodge is accredited by the Australian Camps Association and staff are committed to providing the highest standard in camper safety and quality camping experiences. Winter Wine Weekend is held during the Queens Birthday long weekend in June every year. The opening event is the Winter Wine Festival - an exhibition and tasting which traditionally marks the beginning of the extensive Winter Wine Weekend program. One place, on one day. All undercover, where you can taste more than 200 premium wines from around 50 wineries. Tickets include all tastings, Riedel wine glass, tasting book which includes all wines on exhibition and two entree size dishes....

Mornington Peninsula Winery Walk takes participants alongside local vignerons and friends to celebrate the end of harvest and experience current vintage wines. Taste a variety of wines along the way complemented by a fine selection of food from Red Hill, to Merricks. A beautiful meandering historical rail track provides the perfect way. The group will proceed to amble along a purpose built walking track to Red Hill South. After stopping at Red Hill, you will walk along a beautiful historic rail trail to a private vineyard to meet winemakers showcasing a range of their wines and then down to Stonier and Merricks General Wine Store in Merricks. The Balnarring Picnic Racing Club conducts six family orientated picnic racing meetings at the picturesque Emu Plains Race Course each season between November and Easter in the following year. Focus is on providing an entertaining experience for family and corporate groups to celebrate special occasions with a relaxing day out at the races. Entertainment and a playground provided for children. Bar facility and a range of food vendors available with bookmakers and TAB for those interested in the punt. Wanderlings? offers accommodation and event hires of vintage Airstreams, caravans and unique campers. Based on the Mornington Peninsula, south of Melbourne, Victoria, Wanderlings is owned by Jessie and Scott Curtis-Griffiths. Wanderlings will tow one of their caravans / campers to your chosen location and set everything up before you arrive. After your unique experience is over, just lock up the Wanderling and leave - with the Wanderlings team returning to pack down and tow it away. Jessie and Scott's Airstream adventures started with the importation of their first vintage Airstream in 2012, which sparked the creation of Airstream Dreams. In 2013 they were founding members of Airstream Club Australia and launched Happy Glamper. 2017 brought them a renewed passion to focus on what makes their hearts really sing vintage Airstreams and unusual campers on wheels.
