Since its debut in 1976, the continued success of the Portland Art Exhibition has caused it to grow in both size and importance within the arts communities of Portland and the surrounding regions. In prior years, any money raised from art sales has been distributed back into the local community. You can visit the Mount Piper Power Station Energy Expo every day of the year, except Christmas Day, between 9am and 4pm, tours are available by prior arrangement. Here you'll be able to enjoy exhibits, models, displays, photographic and printed information, videos and touch screens and gain an understanding of the way NSW electricity is produced and distributed.
