Our Chef de Cuisine has drawn inspiration from Fraser Island\u2019s indigenous Butchulla tribe - crafting his menus to blend seasonal, local produce, fresh seafood, Australian bush tucker and island living. This is a place where herbs and garnishes are home-grown at the resort\u2019s nursery, and delivered fresh by our gardeners to the kitchen door. Your evening starts in the architecturally-stunning Centre Complex, whose wide verandahs are reminiscent of a Queenslander house. What follows is a stunning dining experience where Australian food and good company is enjoyed outside in the bush land setting or inside where the colours of the bush - the tans of the forest, gold of the sand and blue of the Great Sandy Strait - abound. The Sand Bar's spacious decks allow glimpses of the Great Sandy Strait and poolside dining offers a taste of the Aussie lifestyle. The Sand Bar's made-to-order pizza and bistro menu hits the spot after a morning in the great outdoors... and best of all it's only a hop, skip and jump to two of the resort's inviting pools and a short stroll to the beach. Picnic in the trees and soak up the birdsong, down a cool drink in the shady deck or keep the kids amused in The Sand Bar's gaming arcade. The Sand Bar is perfect for a quick meal after a day's fun on the water. The Sand Bar is open seasonally, so in off peak and low occupancy times, it may not be operating.

A selection of hearty and healthy breakfast options provide the energy needed for the day's exploring. As lunchtime rolls round, the sun-dappled waters of the resort pool and surrounding wallum scrub set the scene for a leisurely afternoon on the deck of the Maheno Restaurant with the family. Guests can relax with a coldie or a glass of red over dinner and take time, between visits to the buffet, to soak up the sounds of Fraser Island.Note: This restaurant is open daily for breakfast. Eurong Beach Resort is set amid hectares of lawns and gardens on the front of Seventy-Five Mile Beach. Its absolute waterfront position on the eastern side of Fraser Island allows instant access to the island's famous sand highway, and is undoubtedly one of Queensland's most scenic resort locations. McKenzie's Restaurant is our large, casual restaurant and bar serving buffet and a la carte meals daily. Our restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers both seasonal menus and special menus for special days like Australia Day and Valentine's Day. We serve up fresh buffets or can cook juicy steaks to order; fish and seafood and hearty pasta dishes. The restaurant is located next to the main reception and overlooks the resort's large free-form swimming pool.
