Chumphon is located on the Isthmus of Kra, the narrow landbridge connecting the Malay Peninsula with Mainland Thailand.Chumphon means "Meeting Place" and the area has long been used as a place for people from different areas and cultures to gather together.Hence the area has become a diverse area for cooking and traditional recipes.The owner Phoemphun and her family orginate from this beautiful province and their cooking and recipes have been passed along through their family.
