Mansfield Zoo is one of North East Victoria\\'s hidden secrets, with a large collection of exotic and native animals on 30 acres of picturesque parkland featuring lovely views across the Delatite Valley to Mt Buller. Hand feed many of the animals as you wander! Meet Sophia and Miss Greedy, our friendly fallow deer, and Joey the Grey Kangaroo, just some of the animals who will interact with you as you stroll around. Bring along family, friends and a picnic lunch, or sample local wine and fare in our licensed cafe. For those who are more adventurous, stay overnight in a swag and fall asleep to the roar of the lions!

Kinloch Wines is a small family owned company established in 1996. The vineyard is set on a picturesque property that looks down from the northern slopes of the Great Dividing Range towards the bustling township of Mansfield. Kinloch Wines flagship wine is their Chardonnay and their signature wine is their Pinot Meunier, the only one of this sort in the Upper Goulburn Region. Other varietals include Sauvignon Blanc, Rose, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet/Merlot blends. The wine that is fast becoming popular is their Don Kinloch sparkling white made to the true French tradition.

The Cellar Door is an old hay barn converted into a rustic yet cosy tasting room and restaurant. Light gourmet food platters are available that complement the palatable wines. The cellar door is open from 10 to 4 pm daily for tastings only and food is served on weekends and Public Holidays. Closed on Christmas Day, Melbourne Cup and AFL Grand Final days. Special group bookings are entertained by appointment only. Come and relax with a glass or bottle of wine and a bite to eat and experience the magnificent views typical of the Victorian High Country. The vista from Buller Views front paddock is dominated by the 1805 metre tall Mt Buller, seen 45km to the east...Victorias premier winter playground, Buller can also be viewed from the distinctive hexagonal home built by Master Builder and vigneron, Charlie Orrico.

Customers are strongly advised to contact the individual operator prior to visiting. At Mirimibah drive past the Mt Buller Traffic Control office and turn left into picnic ground. In winter check in at traffic control point first. Well formed gravel road leads to playground equipment, public conveniences and nearby barbecue, tables and seating. Barbecue is at 1020mm with no knee space. Tables at 730mm high have vertical knee space of 680mm. Horizontal knee space is 900mm.

The Mansfield Armchair Cinemas are a unique community movie theatre. When it opened for business in 2009, the cinema was the first fully digital operation in Australia and was considered a rare facility in a regional town the size of Mansfield. Included in their 60 seating cinema, are huge bean bags and leather recliner seats. Located in Mount Buller at the end of the High Street, the cinema is available seven days a week for group bookings and private functions. While Public screenings are on Friday and Tuesday nights, all day Saturday as well as Sunday and Wednesday. The fully licensed bar and coffee machine appeals to the everyone while the fully stocked candybar and slushie machine is loved by children. Mansfield Armchair Cinema provides local students the opportunity to join and gain the skills and experience through School Based Apprenticeships. The students are trained to operate the technical side of the cinema, as well as hospitality and the business management skills. Their projectors are DCI Compliant, this enables you to relax with a Wine or Beer and enjoying the latest Blockbuster Movies. Mansfield Historical Society is located at the Mansfield Railway Station at the start of Mansfield town. The Mansfield Historical Society preserves and promotes the history of the Mansfield region. Its archives contain a wealth of information about the history of Mansfield and the surrounding district including genealogical information, microfiche documents, photos, memorabilia, maps and an extensive clothing collection. The Society has many books and photographs of the local area that are available for purchase. The Mansfield Historical Society is have made digital copies of their hundreds of photographs, cataloguing print material and clothing collections. With their modernised computer system it has enables Mansfield Historical Society researchers to instantly find any name or event mentioned in the Mansfield Courier prior to 1960. This old gold mining area on the Howqua River is set in a beautiful, secluded valley, once busy with gold miners but now popular for picnics, horse riding, bushwalking and four-wheel driving. Camping along the Howqua River is one of the best ways to enjoy this historic area and offers a great base for bushwalking, fishing and other activities.
