Darlington Parklands at Yarrabilba is Logan City's newest destination. The multi-age play and recreational destination features an amazing water play area, with shallow pools and fountains for kids to splash and cool down; a climbing dome and multi-swing; fort and climbing wall, and even a sand pit and musical wall for the toddlers. A 30 metre twin flying fox will attract the bigger kids, as will the basketball/soccer court and cricket wicket set. The outdoor gym, which also contains 'mini-exercise equipment' for kids, will have families exercising together. This expansive park also includes a huge sports/multipurpose oval, an arbour, shelters with barbecues and large grassy paces for running or kicking a ball. Additional facilities include an accessible toilet block, wetlands with boardwalk and attractive stone feature walls. Daily light shows can be enjoyed via LED light poles throughout the parkland. Tully Memorial Park is a beautiful space just off the Mt Lindesay Highway and adjacent to the Logan River in North Maclean. Whilst no camping is permitted, self-contained vehicles can stay for a maximum of three nights free of charge. It's an ideal base, close to Jimboomba and within an easy drive of Logan Village, Beenleigh, Mt Tamborine, the Scenic Rim, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
