Kinloch Wines is a small family owned company established in 1996. The vineyard is set on a picturesque property that looks down from the northern slopes of the Great Dividing Range towards the bustling township of Mansfield. The Mansfield Armchair Cinemas are a unique community movie theatre. When it opened for business in 2009, the cinema was the first fully digital operation in Australia and was considered a rare facility in a regional town the size of Mansfield. Walk to the top of The Pap's Lookout and you will be greeted with expansive views of the rolling High Country hills and Lake Eildon. The Mansfield Wetlands provide a habitat for native fauna and are a beautiful and accessible example of a living wetlands ecosystem. The Great Victorian Rail Trail passes through the Mansfield Mullum Wetlands. Walk or cycle along the trail or do the circuit. Mansfield Historical Society aims to preserve and promote the history of Mansfield and surrounding districts. Located at the old Mansfield Railway Station building in High Street, its committee of volunteers work together to present the current – ‘known history of the region’ so together we can, conserve, share, explore, remember & learn about the many valuable stories of its past. Its considerable archives & databases, contain a wealth of information about the history of Mansfield and the surrounding district including genealogical information, microfiche documents, photos, memorabilia, maps and an extensive clothing collection. For a fee, our archival system enables our research team to track down information for you about early Mansfield. The Society has many books, souvenirs and photographs of the local area that are also available for purchase. The Mansfield Historical Society warmly welcomes new members and volunteers.
