Falls Creek has quickly become a must ride location on any mountain bikers radar. With an amazing single track network as well as a wealth of back country trails, Falls Creek appeals to all styles of riders. You can either earn your turns or jump on the Blue Dirt shuttle service to make the most of the fast flowing descending trails. The 2016 season will see the opening of the new Flowtown trail linking the current trail network all the way down to Howman’s gap. When paired with other trails off the summit, riders will be able to sink their teeth into 10kms of descending trails with shuttles back to the top! Every day between 27th Dec – 15th January 2017 and every weekend until 23rd April....

The Alpine Challenge is without doubt the toughest, most challenging, most spectacular and rewarding mountain trail run in Australia—if not the southern hemisphere. The 100 mile course runners take in six major climbs with 7,600 metres of ascent and descent including Mt Feathertop, Mt Hotham, Mt McKay, Spion Kopje, Mt Nelse and Victoria’s highest mountain, Mt Bogong and four river crossings. Victoria’s 7 Peaks Ride is an at-your-own pace cycling challenge which runs from late October to April. Taking you up winding mountain roads, around steep turns and past spectacular views right to the top of seven Victorian Alpine Resorts. This Bogong High Plain Road ride is 29.5 kilometres from Mount Beauty to Falls Creek. The climb of over 1,100 metres is winding with a series of ascents and descents in the earlier and mid-sections. You will head past Bogong Village and Howman’s Gap before arriving at Falls Creek. Waterfalls, wildflowers, mountain streams and tall gum forests line your ride.
