The Lake Barrington Vineyard is located beside Lake Barrington at West Kentish, northwest Tasmania. The Working Art Space is located in the famous northwest Tasmanian Town of Murals, Sheffield. It is both an art gallery and thriving hub of local arts related activity. Established in 2005 by the Kentish branch of Tasmanian Regional Arts, it is situated in a heritage-listed, Kentish council owned, former drill hall built in 1912 for the 22nd Light Horse Company The interior of the building has been transformed into a high quality arts based facility where you can view and purchase the exceptional work of local artists and artisans, enrol in one of the regularly held workshops plus check out the latest exhibition on display. You can also pre-book a demonstration session by an artist for your tour or special group, which includes complimentary refreshments. If you take the self-guided audio tour of Sheffield's murals, which can be arranged through the Visitor Information Centre, you will eventually find yourself at the Working Art Space because it boasts its own mural with a fitting theme - an old man reminiscing on his youth as a Light Horseman - just outside the main entrance. Step inside, it is definitely worth taking a look.

The World of Marbles specialises in hand-made glass marbles, based in Sheffield, north west Tasmania. All marbles feature contemporary art designs and many are made on site. The studio is open for visitors to watch the marble making process using hot glass. There is a gallery with marbles to purchase, a kids room full of playing marbles and an exhibition room which houses the owners' private collection. This is the only gallery of its type in Australia.

The Claude Road Market is a country market in Sheffield, north west Tasmania. Every three months, on the third Saturday of the month, Sheffield's Claude Road Hall fills with stallholders and treasure hunters for the Claude Road Market. Redwater Creek Steam and Heritage Society in Sheffield operates steam train rides monthly. You can experience rail travel from yesteryear on the first full weekend of each month from the original Sheffield railway station. Trains run every half an hour from 1100 until 1600 on Saturday and Sunday. The Sheffield Station has been recently renovated to include a coffee shop. This is a community project operated entirely by volunteers. 1906 Krauss 60 centimetre gauge loco and Tasmanian heritage coaches - now in its hundredth year and still going strong! Sheffield Golf Course, also known as Badger Heights, is a course with a view in north west Tasmania. The nine-hole course is located at the foot of the Badger Range, near Sheffield, 40-minutes south of Devonport (30 kilometres/19 miles) and an hour west of Launceston (93 kilometres/58 miles). Sheffield Golf Course is undulating and heavily wooded, with stands of graceful eucalypts fringing the greens. You can play a challenging round of golf here; the 210 metre, par three sixth with a dam at the back of the green is one of the more demanding holes. Club hire is available for men, women and juniors - and because the course favours left-handed players, some left handed sets are also available for hire. As a green fee guest, you can join members in the regular competitions and relax in the fully-licensed clubhouse after your round. This area is dominated by the craggy peak of Mount Roland (1,234 metres) and the course has outstanding views of the mountain and across the Kentish Plains.
