As you enter Maleny you will find the MALENY SUNDAY MARKET on the left opposite the pub, in and outside the RSL Hall. We are there EVERY SUNDAY 8-2pm. Our market has 30+ stalls. As well as art, craft and collectables you can also find clothing old and new, jewellery, books, massage, reiki, tarot and food, and a cafe with fair trade coffee, a very social meeting place for friends old and new. We welcome buskers on the lawn. We welcome enquiries from prospective stallholders, whether one off or regular - call Merrin on 0448423919.

Maleny Cheese Cafe is a cheese lovers heaven and destination food attraction. It is positioned in the unique Australian dairy region of the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Maleny Cheese showcases and sells its products, all of which are made from locally sourced milk. The Maleny Cheese Cafe provides an educational food tourism experience for visitors and group tours alike. It is a cafe with a cheese focused menu, as well as a deli-shop that helps complete any visitors picnic basket. Panoramic viewing windows allow each guest, an opportunity to learn about real dairy products.

Colin James Fine Foods famous gelato and sorbet is one of the true highlights of a visit to this business situated in Maple Street Maleny, a small town located in the rolling hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Produced in a small purpose built factory, using Maleny Dairies rich guernsey milk and cream, real fruit and imported Italian bases, the gelato has won numerous awards since the business opened in 2001. A refreshing range of smooth and creamy dairy free sorbets packed full of real fruit and delicious flavour also feature in their range. Visitors to the store can experience a wide range of Australian and International cheeses which are located in a wonderful walk in fromagerie (cheese room). Many cheeses are cut straight from the wheel allowing the customer to purchase a truly authentic product. The cafe serves freshly prepared meals and great coffee made by experienced and well trained baristas. Shelves are stocked with gourmet oils, balsamics, relishes and pastes.

Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve comprises 55 hectares of National Estate listed subtropical rainforest overlooking the Glasshouse Mountains. A remnant of the rainforests that once covered the Blackall Range, the Reserve is a living museum of diverse plant and animal life which promises to delight with its tranquility and beauty. Step back in time in their Rainforests Through Time display, take a relaxing walk along their rainforest tracks, have a picnic or barbecue, or relax at the Cafe.
