Tall shady trees, generous grassy areas and bush walks are just a few of reasons to visit Bowen Mountain Park. Take a break, relax and enjoy the serenity at the picnic tables and make use of the electric barbecue facilities for your picnic lunch. Toilets are also available. There are no shops at Bowen Mountain, closest village is Kurrajong so please bring all you need with you. It is a great park for families as the playground has current equipment with soft fall ground coverings – let the kids enjoy themselves on the slippery dips, swings, climbing gear and see-saw. The play area is shaded by mature trees, they are mainly natives such as Turpentine trees, Red Cedar and Eucalypts. You will also find a English Oak, a Cork Tree and a small Bunya Pine.
