The Bundaberg Region offers so many options to learn about the local flora and fauna. This journey takes in the Moore Park Beach water birds, feed the birdlife at the Botanic Gardens, head to Baldwin Swamp to meander the tracks that wind through the forest taking you down close to the lakes. There is also a Retail Store, where visitors can purchase exclusive and limited edition products, and the Bear Garden Cafe & Bar area. The Museum Experience is a self-guided tour, where guests walk through six 75,000 litre oak vats in a unique sensory experience that showcases the proud and rich history behind the iconic Australian rum. As part of the Distillery Experience, guests join one of the expert guides on a journey deep into the heart of the fully operational distillery. For those that want to try their hand at becoming a Master Blender, the premium Blend Your Own Rum Experience allows guests to learn the art of blending their very own rum straight from the barrel. Known as Bundaberg's own "Kakadu", Baldwin Swamp is home to many species of birdlife and wildlife. Meander through the trails and take in the smells of the Eucalypt trees whilst enjoying the peace and quiet Baldwin Swamp offers. The wetlands provide a roosting, breeding and feeding habitat for thousands of waterbirds. You will find Lake Ellen Heritage Hub on the western side of Baldwin Swamp Environmental park. With plenty of shade, Baldwin Swamp is the perfect place for a picnic....

Starting off at the graceful Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Barolin Street this walk will take in the spectacular architecture and history of the Churches located in Bundaberg. This walk includes Churches of all different faiths. This walk takes in the Bundaberg Uniting Church, Salvation Army Church, Restored Apostolic Mission Congregation as well as the Heritage Christian Centre and the Pentecostals of Bundaberg centre. The East Water Tower is a must visit as it is believed to be the only circular brick tower in Queensland. Given Bundaberg's relatively flat terrain, this tower is the perfect example of late 19th century technology - using the increased water pressure provided by the tower in order to allow the reticulated water system to flow through efficiently.
