Take a look around the impressive two-storey residence which features white iron lacework, wide verandas and a central tower. Its interior has been carefully restored and furnished to reflect the late Victorian and early Edwardian periods. Woodbridge House was built in 1885 for Charles Harper and family, the house was considered one of the most gracious in Western Australia. It remained a private home until 1920 when it became a private school. Located just 30 minutes east of Perth. Guildford is well worth a day trip to soak up the historic beauty, traditional landscapes and friendly village atmosphere. Located in Brigadoon, this picnic and bush walking spot at Bells Rapids is a prime viewing area to see competitors in the annual Avon Descent White Water Race battle the rapids. Access to the rapids is via a gravel road which leads to a car parking area. Dogs are permitted but remember to keep them on a leash.
