arc, in Main Street, Yinnar is a unique centre for creativity and contemporary arts that combines a superb gallery, vibrant music venue, studio spaces for artists and resources services. arc is located in the disused Yinnar Butter Factory, that was renovated for opening in 1983 by a dedicated team of local artists, making the building a centrepiece for the town and the surrounding district. arc is an artist-run, non-profit organisation whose members are proud of the continued development of the art centre. Work by local artists is displayed for sale in glass cabinets in the foyer entrance as well as in the office windows. Greeting cards, pottery, sculpture, scarves, jewellery, glass, book arts, prints and photography for special gift ideas and home decor are available for sale. arc houses twogalleries, one very large and one small. The exhibition spaces are available for arc run initiatives and for private hire. arc runs regular workshops in a variety of artistic practices and holds music nights in the Switchroom bar.
