Located in the secluded and picturesque village of Prospect Hill, the Prospect Hill Historical Museum comprises several historic buildings with exhibits depicting the life of the early pioneers.
The museum buildings include an old working dairy, blacksmith shop, school, post office, barns, a shed full of working machinery and a home packed with historic treasures.
Visitors can also walk through an exhibit showing the devastation caused by the Ash Wednesday bushfires to the town and the resilience of the local people in rebuilding their lives and community.
