White Fisheries recently opened a new purpose built seafood factory in the centre of the Bellarine at Drysdale, a 15 minute drive from Geelong. The facility caters for numerous wholesale customers and also for the discerning retail shopper. A gleaming fresh fish display greets the customer filled with freshly shucked oysters, prawns, marinara, crayfish,mussels and a vast array of fresh local fish from Port Phillip Bay just to name a few. Developing a reputation for quality fresh fish at affordable prices has been supported by a number of local fisherman over the years and continues to be the backbone of the business. The retail outlet is open to the public Monday to Friday from 9-5 and Saturdays from 9-12.

Lonsdale Golf Club is a highly regarded 18-hole sandbelt course with a varied layout situated on beautiful Lake Victoria, conveniently located in Point Lonsdale on the Bellarine Peninsula. The nearby Rip at the opening of Port Phillip Bay to the sea, is one of the Bellarine region's many stunning attractions along with wineries, cafes, restaurants and accommodation. One and a half hours drive from Melbourne, the Lonsdale Golf Club course is a par 71 of 5,700 metres for men and par 72 of 5,200 metres for women. The Club offers an on course teaching professional, well-stocked pro shop and three practice areas. The spacious clubhouse provides members and visitors with a welcoming atmosphere, bar and dining facilities including before and after golf snacks, lunches and a la carte dining. The Club attracts members locally and from Melbourne, with the current membership around 1,000.

Located near the mouth of Barwon River, Barwon Bluff Marine Sanctuary protects 17ha of predominately composed of reef. The eastern half of the reef is basalt, formed from lava flow, and is exposed to the flow of the river. The western side is old sandstone and influenced by ocean swell. On the outer edges of the reef are the wrecks of two ships. The variation in conditions across the reef results in the presence of a huge diversity of plants and animals. Visitors can see anything from feather stars and barnacles to rock lobsters, rays and schools of fish. The Bellarine Railway is a volunteer operated organisation located on the Bellarine Peninsula, offering heritage train rides and experiences between Queenscliff and Drysdale, on board a collection of steam and diesel trains originating from around Australia. The heritage service is available on Sundays, most public holidays, as well as Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school holidays. Extra running days are available of the summer holidays. Carriage hire is available as part of the heritage service and perfect for children's parties or groups looking for the benefits of private train hire without the added cost. Thirteenth Beach Golf Links began back in the early 1920s, when the Australian Jam Company purchased 405 acres at Thirteenth Beach and established an asparagus farm. The original diesel pump which provided water for irrigation is still beside the 5th tee of The Beach Course. Asparagus farming ceased in the early 1970s when the property was acquired for beef cattle production. The size of the property was subsequently increased to over 830 acres. In 1999, a joint venture was established to create a premium golf and residential precinct on 520 acres. The master plan allowed for 36 holes of golf, clubhouse facility 150 residential allotments and 150 condominiums. The Beach Course (designed by Tony Cashmore), the first 18 hole course, is set along the property's two kilometres of surf beach frontage. The course was opened for play on the first December 2001. The course has already been ranked among Australia's Best 20 Golf Courses by two national golf magazines. The Creek Course (designed by Sir Nick Faldo and Tony Cashmore), spanning 6,401 metres has 18 holes and was opened for play on 1 January 2004 to wide acclaim.

Lonsdale Hydroponics is a family owned and run local produce business built in 1998 by Andrew and Helen Pearson and is now run by their nephew Jamie Moran. Lonsdale Hydroponics offers vine ripened tomatoes, the way nature intended. In addition to the produce they grow on site, they also have a range of high-quality seasonal produce, chutneys and sauces available for sale. Lonsdale Hydroponics supply supermarkets and selected restaurants from Queenscliff to Anglesea. When you have a greenhouse as big as they do at Lonsdale Hydroponics, you can grow all sorts of beautiful varieties. They have 6,000 tomato plants including Truss, round, roma, cherry, and big red monsters as big as your fist. Along with tomatoes, Lonsdale Hydroponics grow a huge range of lettuce as well. Victoria's historic coastal town of Queenscliff is home to the world's one and only Blues Train. It is a unique experience that combines four of Australia's best live acts and the beautiful scenery of the Bellarine Peninsula on the Drysdale Railway line while aboard a real moving vintage steam train. It is one of Australia's most spectacular entertainment experiences - it is a mini festival in one night and a progressive party you'll never forget. Nothing captures the spirit of the blues quite like a steam train. Listening to the train whistle and the clickety-clack on the tracks you can imagine the old blues masters jamming it up on Mississippi freight trains as they were 'ridin' the blinds' around America's deep south. The Blues Train leaves Queenscliff Railway Station after guests have enjoyed a delicious meal complemented by fine Australian and local wines. The steam train then makes its way along 16 kilometres of track, gently rocking from side to side, seemingly in beat with the music. At each of the stops, Suma Park and Drysdale, revellers swap carriages to see another of the acts, so by the end of the night patrons have seen all four acts performing on the train. Drinks are available from the mobile bar that miraculously appears on each platform (from the converted guard's van). You can sit back, relax and listen to the music with a drinking on one of the seated carriages or get up and boogie the blues away in one of the dance carriages. The Queenscliff shop opened its doors in 1995 and is located in a beautifully kept, heritage listed former Wesleyan Church. Built in 1868 the high ceiling and historic atmosphere create a charming environment in which to browse the wall to wall shelves when the weather's not so good for the beach.

The riding school has been run by the Lamperd family for the past 40 years. Robin Lamperd began the school in Wallington as part of Koombahla Park Equestrian Centre in 1974 up until 2010. Robin's son, Murray Lamperd, took over the running of the riding school in 2005. Murray's vision for the riding school and equestrian team meant there was a growing need for updated facilities and a more specific training environment. Because of this, the riding school made the move to the new location at the end of Barry's Lane, just behind the old property, in November of 2010. This move has seen new life into the school horses with better grazing and an excellent surface for riding. It has also created a more inclusive and encouraging environment for the riders entering the competition world, and enabled Murray to focus more intensively on preparing his horses and students for the competition season.

The Drysdale Community Craft Shop is run by the members of the co-operative team who make and sell their quality hand made items in the lovely heritage building in the main street of Drysdale. Located next to the Uniting Church, on the Bellarine Peninsular through Geelong on the Portarlington Road. The members make a range of goods including jewellery, children's clothes, baby wear, quilts, toys, dolls, wooden toys, hats, embroidered gifts, paintings, hand painted items, dried flower arrangements, tea cosies, pot holders, cushions, smocked frocks, scarves, bridal items, cards, gift knick-knacks, bags, Australian souvenirs, pottery, dolls clothes and more. Is there a new baby in the family? Then see the range of beautiful baby clothes, knitted jackets, bootees, bonnet/hats, quilts, blankets, cuddle rugs, toys and the list goes on! Manzanillo Grove, with over 4500 olive trees and seven different varieties, was established in 1997 in the fertile valleys of the Bellarine Peninsula Victoria near Geelong and is owned and operated by the Kint Family. The Bellarine Peninsula and their Olives in particular have a distinctive flavour that is much sought after by discerning buyers. They pride themselves in producing a fine quality Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil that is processed on the property. Manzanillo Olive Oil is not heat extracted at any stage of production and therefore is of the highest quality and has a flavour unique from their grove. Manzanillo Grove have won numerous awards which include gold for the oils and olives and grove of the year in 2011 which is the most prestigious award in the olive industry. Russell and Jan McGlashan began establishment of their 10 hectare vineyard at 225 Swan Bay Road, Wallington in 1995. Four varieties are now planted including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Shiraz. The sandy loam over buck shot clay provides the perfect soil structure for production of their premium cool climate wines. Winemaker, Robin Brocket uses French Oak to mature the wines for 12 months prior to bottling. The wines are multi award winning including two Gold medals, one Silver medal and one Bronze medal at the 2010 Geelong Wine Show (most successful Bellarine exhibitor at the Show) and have received a Five Star rating in the James Halliday Australian Wine Companion. The new cellar door has now opened and offers wine tasting and sales, along with gourmet grazing platters and freshly made focaccia's available throughout the day. A maritime and automotive memorabilia display is located in the cellar door along with classic car exhibitions. Abalone sales of export quality are available at the cellar door. In 2016 Jane was invited to the Maldives as resident artist on a creative cultural exchange.

Banks Road Vineyard is a small family run vineyard and winery on the Bellarine Peninsula just outside Geelong, on approximately 12 acres. The 12 acres of grapes planted including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz, which suits their coastal climate. They also source Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grapes from the Harcourt Valley near Bendigo. Banks Road Vineyard look forward to welcoming you to the vineyard. All wines are made on site in the small hands on facility. Banks Road also make wine for some of the other vineyards around area. They are very passionate about their wine and enjoy the closeness to their produce that being a small winery gives them. Ponda Estate Vineyard is a small, boutique family owned vineyard situated in the Bellarine Peninsula wine region of Geelong, Victoria. The three acre block produces a stunning handcrafted, single-vineyard Pinot Noir wine. Ponda Estate is committed to using sustainable and eco-friendly viticultural practices - the low-yielding vines are hand tended, Babydoll Southdown sheep and chooks work the block to sort out weeds/bugs and provide fertilisation for the vines, and family/friends help hand pick the grapes at harvest time. Now in its tenth year of operation Salt Contemporary Art Queenscliff exhibits the works of contemporary Australian painters, sculptors and ceramicists. Housed in an historically significant former drapery store, the gallery has long been considered the Bellarine Peninsula's premier art gallery. Offering a dynamic, regularly changing exhibition schedule, and regular arts related events including lectures, exhibition openings and biannual Indigenous exhibitions co-curated by Susan McCulloch and Emily McCulloch Childs, Salt Contemporary gallery is a must see for all art enthusiasts.
